Today is Release Day for (4) NEW adorable Doll patterns! Bunnies are PERFECT for Spring and Easter sewing. These patterns are so easy and quick, you will be hopping to make a fluffle of bunnies for all the little people in your life! (Yes, you read that word right! A group of bunnies is called a fluffle!)
Presenting the Floral Bunny and Waistcoat Bunny which are available in BOTH Sewing versions and Machine Embroidery versions. (Pattern links are all at the bottom of this post).
These Bunnies are smaller than the standard Bee Sew Inspired Dolls and we are so excited to welcome them into the "Little Friends" series of Doll patterns! All (4) patterns come with (3) sizes of Bunny Doll files and templates in each pattern. Dolls finish at 10", 12" and 14" Dolls (which includes the height of their ears!)
These doll patterns are Beginner Friendly, so if you have been wanting to try your hand at making a Doll, these little friends might just be the Doll for you!!! Their front and back pieces are a solid fabric (including their cute rounded legs), making them simple and quick to assemble!
Fully-illustrated, step-by-step instructions, files and templates are all included to help you embellish your Bunny friend with a Floral Crown or a Waistcoat vest!!!
The fabric I used for the "fur" on these Bunny dolls is the beautiful, Shabby Fabric by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs. Shabby is an RBD Basic, which means it is available all the time, and as a Doll Maker, I LOVE to use this 100% cotton basic for animal doll bodies. The textured appearance gives such a beautiful, realistic look, with all the ease and benefits of sewing with a quilting cotton!
