Rocky Mountain Wild fabric is really the perfect fabric collection for the peaceful animal doll pattern! Corinne Wells, fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs did a breathtaking job of really capturing that Mountain air peaceful feeling. Now - full disclosure - I had planned on making only the Deer Dolls with this collection but when I began working with Corinne's fabrics, I could really SEE the mountains in my mind's eye. So using my scraps, I drew up a sketch of a MINI quilt that I wanted to be scrappy and breath-taking, just like those long family hikes! The pattern is called Mountain Sky and you can grab the PDF pattern HERE. This MINI quilt is a great size to hang in the cabin on the wall, use as a coffee table cover, or even a Doll Quilt!
